Easter Brunch


Pacific Beach AleHouse — Head to Pacific Beach AleHouse on Easter Sunday for $4 AleHouse drafts all day, plus $10 champagne bottles available from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., including AleHouse favorites such as Pecan Crusted French Toast and Loaded Skillet Hash, plus plenty of brunch libations to go around! 
 
Waterbar — Perched along the shoreline in Pacific Beach, this coastal hotspot will offer endless rose, along with Loaded Cinnamon Buns (a plate of three homemade cinnamon buns smothered in white icing and topped with sliced bananas), Cinnamon Toast Crunch and blueberry compote, Eggs Benedict, stacked with an English muffin, Canadian bacon, poached eggs and hollandaise, served with your choice of side, and finally, their Spring Fling Scramble, featuring English peas, asparagus, baby heirloom tomato, chives, crumbled goat cheese , sliced avocado and choice of toast. The special brunch menu will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
 
Backyard Kitchen & Tap — Since no Easter is complete without an Easter bunny photo-op, Backyard Kitchen & Tap will host their Easter Egg-Extravaganza, complete with a brunch buffet and pancake station from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., priced at $17.95 for adults and $9.95 for kids, and special Easter cocktails for the adults. Enjoy live acoustic entertainment from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and bring the youngsters to meet the Easter bunny – furbabies included!
 
Breakfast Republic — Have your most important meal of the day at the Breakfast Republic this Easter, and indulge in April food and drink specials, including their Peep Show Mocha, prepared with toasted marshmallow, espresso, mocha, milk, whipped cream and a Peep garnish for good measure. If a boozy brunch is in order, try your hand at their Sunrise Service Mimosa, crafted from raspberry, orange juice, prosecco, and an orange garnish. Refuel before the big Easter egg hunt with their Mac & Grilled Cheese, a revamped classic stuffed with cheddar mac ‘n’ cheese and two eggs any style, or enjoy their Protein Sampler Board, a charcuterie spread complete with a variety of breakfast-style meats and cheeses, plus two eggs any style topped with hollandaise, fresh fruit and house potatoes. Specials are available throughout the month of April at all seven Breakfast Republic locations.
 
Fig Tree Café — Wake up with their Iced Coco Mocha, comprised of chocolate, coconut, espresso and milk, topped with whipped cream, a sprinkling of mocha powder and coconut shavings. Sip your way to a tropical paradise with their Tropical Fruit Mimosa Flight, featuring Passion Fruit, Kiwi, Coconut/Raspberry and Pineapple tasters – an idyllic accompaniment to their Chicken-Mango Sausage Scramble special, prepared with three eggs, Canadian bacon, applewood smoked bacon, red onion, and cheddar cheese.
 
Egg Hunts
 
Belmont Park — This all-day event will be jam-packed with Easter fun from park to boardwalk including egg hunts (SOLD OUT), free activities for children, an Easter Bunny photo op, live music and more. The egg hunts on the beach and in the park will nest 20,000+ fun-filled eggs and a limited supply of “Golden Eggs” with exclusive prizes ranging from free rides to restaurant gift cards. Feast on Easter brunch at Draft or sip on champagne & OJ at Cannonball’s Mimosa Bubbles Bar. Held on Sunday, April 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit belmontpark.com.
 
Playa Pacifica Park — This free community egg hunt will be a fun activity for all. Two rounds (for different groups) of 1,000 eggs will be hidden around the park. Bring a basket or bag and to collect the eggs. Enjoy light refreshments, and hang out with your community. Starts at 10 a.m. 
 
Firefly Eatery & Bar — Annual Easter Brunch complete with brioche french toast, buttermilk pancakes, roast beef and ham carving stations, assorted pastries, omelet station, pasta station, bloody marys, mimosas and more. In addition to this bountiful brunch being served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., two egg hunts will take place at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Cost is $50 for adults and $20 for children ages 10 and under. Sunrise Services
 
Crown Point Park — Please join Pacific Beach UMC and the Water’s Edge Faith Community for an Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 21 at 6 a.m. Gather at Crown Point Park on Mission Bay with hot cups of coffee, donuts, and worship music, followed by the Easter story. Pastor Bob Rhodes will offer a message of the joy of discovering the presence of Christ, and Pastor Jessica Strysko will lead us in sharing Holy Communion together.
