Mission Bay High School Class of 2020 graduates and their families came together in an informal ceremony at Law Street beach in Pacific Beach on June 9 to celebrate graduating seniors who endured a difficult last three months of high school life. Video of the ceremony is here https://youtu.be/JiVMkf9lF3U

Congratulations!! Had these kids not taken this opportunity they would have nothing as far as a ceremony is concerned. I wish this was a true representation of the MBHS 2020 senior class!! Sadly so many students are missing since this was not the school sanctioned event. The school event was in the dark and as they received their cap and gown, so no photo opportunities. As they returned their textbooks they were given their diplomas and offered a small, un-decorated background as an option for cap and gown pictures. Very lackluster nothing saying class of 2020.
