A typical Nards show is a lot of manic fun, with a mix of great covers that makes the band a bit like the ultimate live jukebox. From Johnny Cash to Steve Miller, you’ll always hear great song after great song, perfect for dancing or just singing along. What makes this occasion different is that the night will be a special gathering in honor of guitarist and front man Rick Wilkins’ 50th birthday, with a host of musical friends expected to join in on a song or two throughout the night. Wilkins is a well-respected member of the music community, with decades of experiences in such groups as the Outriders and currently plays with Sara Petite’s band, so there’s no shortage of potential guest players. You’ll want to get there early for what promises to be the party of the month. A Nards show is rarely less than a 9.5 on the Richter scale, but this evening promises to be off the chart.
