Brady Truesdale was born May 25, 1991 and left us far too soon on Jan. 11, 2014.

He was 22.

Brady was a graduate of Point Loma High School, class of 2009, attended Sonoma State University and then returned home to pursue his calling in the restaurant business.

He worked at several restaurants in town, both as a bartender and a server. Hisdream was to have his own place one day.

He loved the business and the opportunities it gave him to interact with people, which was his other great passion. Brady was a soccer player, a drummer and enjoyed any sport that took him to the water, as well as having a love of the mountains or the desert.

He surfed and was a water and snow skier. He hiked, camped and was up for anything that was fun, especially if it kicked up the adrenaline.

Brady infected everyone with his spirit and his ability to celebrate life and everything it had to offer.  He is survived by mother Conni; father Kenneth; stepmother Pauka; sister Kelli; brothers Cole, Evan and Patrick; grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of his life was held on Jan. 18 and was attended by more than 800 people — a testament to the number of lives he touched.  He will be greatly missed.

Donations in his name can be made to San Diego First Church of the Nazarene, where Brady entertained many community children as a counselor.

Donations may be made to VBS Summer Camp, 3900 Lomaland Drive, San Diego, 92107.
