Little People of America (LPA), a nonprofit organization providing information to people of short stature and their families, held its national conference this year from July 4 to 10 in San Diego – but what's San Diego without a surfer or two to take advantage of the legendary weather? Surf Diva Surf School hosted a clinic for LPA members on Monday, July 7, with the event organized by LPA member Ryan Gambrell, who started surfing as a boy. The participants were taught by Surf Diva Surf School instructors and qualified volunteers. COURTESY PHOTO
