Pacific Beach Elementary finished big in the SIFMA Foundation's Stock Market Game. Congratulations to Sidney P. and Bella F. for their first place finish (of 79 teams) in the Elementary Division, and Gavin M., Jake G. And Rhett W. for finishing second. Four additional PBE teams were top-10 finishers. The program's goal is to teach financial literacy by giving teams of students a virtual check for $100k, which they invest in stocks, bonds and mutual funds. These kids had the highest overall returns on investment for their division in the San Diego Region.
