It’s that time of year to write up a list of resolutions. Remember to include your dog and cat. They’re both part of the family, right?

County Animal Services has seven ideas for you:

Make sure your dog and cat are vaccinated against rabies

License your dog

Register your dog and cat with Finding Rover, which can help you find them if they’re lost

Microchip your animals. If they’re already microchipped, make sure your information is current

Get your dog and cat spayed or neutered

Create a disaster plan for your pets

Take your dog for regular walks

County Animal Services offers low-cost license, microchip and rabies vaccination clinics at its three shelters from 1 to 3 p.m. every Thursday.
