The San Diego Seals announced on Dec. 27 that the team has signed goaltender Tyler Carlson to a one-year contract.

Carlson, 30, spent the past four seasons with the Rush organization, winning three championships. Last year, he boasted a .797 save percentage and 9.33 goals-against-average in limited action.

San Diego released goaltender Pete Dubenski and placed forward Zach Miller on the Injured Reserve list indefinitely. Goaltender Rylan Hartley, who was named to the team’s inaugural 21-man Active Roster, will be out indefinitely with a lower-body injury.

The San Diego Seals home-opener is set for 7 p.m. Jan. 12 against the Rochester Knighthawks at Pechanga Arena San Diego. Single-game tickets are on sale at SealsLax.com.
