Creek to Bay Cleanup is a one-day, countywide event gives residents the opportunity to be a channel for change and create a cleaner, healthier San Diego County. In 2018, more than 6,400 volunteers removed more than 145,000 pounds of litter and debris during the three-hour event.

Join volunteers from 9 a.m. to noon on April 27 at one of 115 cleanup locations in neighborhoods, parks, beaches, and open spaces throughout San Diego. For more details, registration, and a complete list of cleanup sites, visit CreektoBay.org.

Creek to Bay’s tagline, “Your Neighborhood, Our Environment,” highlights the importance of taking action locally to contribute regionally and beyond. Volunteers can join forces with their neighbors at a nearby cleanup site to impact the overall health and beauty of the entire county.

While trash removal is a large focus of the event, volunteers will also enhance their communities through beautification projects such as green waste removal, painting park structures, graffiti removal, mulching, and more.
