ArtPower’s dance series will present an ETM (electronic tap music) show at 8 p.m. on May 15 at the Mandell Weiss Theatre at UC San Diego. “ETM: Double Down” showcases traditional tap dance with a modern twist by using electronic trigger boards that turn the entire stage into an instrument. Tickets start at $30 and can be purchased online at ucsdboxoffice.com.

BLADE RUNNER FILM SCREENING AND PANEL TALK 

A film screening of “Blade Runner: The Final Cut” and panel discussion about the “Blade Runner” film legacy and its relevance to Southern California will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on May 14 at UC San Diego’s Atkinson Hall Auditorium. Guest speakers include UC San Diego alumnus and award-winning sci-fi author David Brin, Hollywood insider Paul Sammon and urban theorist Mike Davis. BIRD ROCK YOGA ANNOUNCES NEW INFRARED HEAT PANELS

Bird Rock Yoga will host an open house event to showcase its newly installed EnerJoy Infrared heat panels from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on April 26 at its Pacific Beach studio, 910 Grand Ave. Infrared heating supports a strong immune system, reduces inflammation and purifies the skin.  The event includes free yoga classes every hour, snacks, games, and giveaways.
