Store leaders will conduct interviews with applicants and discuss Target’s dynamic, team-oriented culture. Interested candidates can continue to apply beyond the job fair dates — an additional job fair will take place June 7-8.

“We look forward to building a local team of 50 talented team members who will help us serve the residents and visitors of Ocean Beach. We are excited to grow our team while providing meaningful opportunities to build and develop skills for their careers,” said Dorothee Wacheux, store director.

In addition to market competitive wages, Target also offers various education benefits, such as tuition and GED reimbursement, to support team members’ continuous learning as they build skills for a lifetime. This investment in the team will allow Target to continue to recruit and retain strong team members and provide an elevated experience for its guests and in the communities it serves.

The Ocean Beach store, located at 4854 Newport Ave., brings a convenient and affordable retail option to the beachside community. Nationwide, Target has prioritized opening small-format stores to serve guests in urban areas, dense suburban neighborhoods and near college campuses – areas where a full-size Target typically wouldn’t fit. This new store will offer a curated assortment of food and beverage items, apparel and accessories, health and beauty, and home décor — all based on the community’s needs.

What BS. Target bruised its way into this community to serve no "team" interest just it's own. To denominate a wage serf as a "team member" is a sodomization of language, logic, and community fabric. I eagerly await the disbanding of the Target Express in O.B. and will never use that needless nuisance.
