FREE YOGA, SIPS, AND SNACKS AT ENJOYA LA JOLLA 



Discover why La Jolla is called “the Jewel of San Deigo” at Enjoya La Jolla. 

Held every second Saturday from July to September, this free event will take place from 3 to 7 p.m., July 13 in La Jolla Village featuring live music, entertainment, local shopping, tasty treats, and other surprises. 

Hosted by La Jolla Village Merchant Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to merchant success in La Jolla Village, this upcoming event will start near Prospect and Girard. Participants can pick up shopping passports, and event maps can be picked up at from National Geographic Fine Art Galleries,  1205 Prospect St., or La Jolla Sports Club, 7825 Fay Ave. 

Visitors will enjoy prizes, raffles, giveaways, and contests as well as free sips and snacks. Vino & Vinyasa will host a free yoga class at La Jolla Sports Club at 4 p.m. 

Visitors are asked to register in advance to receive their “Enjoya La Jolla” passport and event schedule, discounted parking pass as well as a chance to win fantastic prizes courtesy of the La Jolla Village Merchants Association and its members.  Visit lajollabythesea.com for more information. 

SAN DIEGO SNEAKS SUMMER CLASSIC
 
The San Diego Sneaks Summer Classic will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the La Jolla Recreation Center, 615 Prospect St. This event will feature a competitive 16-team hoops tournament, local media outlets, art, entertainment, food, vendors, and music just a block away from the beach. VIRTUAL REALITY PRESENTATION AT LA JOLLA HISTORICAL SOCIETY



Scott McAvoy of UC San Diego Library’s Digital Media Lab will give an informal drop-in virtual reality presentation at 1 p.m. June 30 at the La Jolla Historical Society’s Wisteria Cottage Gallery, 780 Prospect St. Utilizing historical photographs by tourists and images from the La Jolla Historical Society archive, McAvoy has virtually reconstructed Windemere Cottage so you can walk around it using virtual reality goggles. 6TH-ANNUAL HUMANE SOCIETY YAPPY HOUR

The sixth-annual Yappy Hour Fundraiser's "Pup Crawl" will be held from 5:30-9 p.m., June 25 at The Wine Pub, 2907 Shelter Island Drive and Old Venice Restaurant, 2910 Canon St. Participants receive 15 percent off food and drink purchases, and 100 percent of the raffle will benefit the San Diego Humane Society.
