The Peninsula Beacon is co-sponsoring an upcoming mayoral debate between Mayor Jerry Sanders and challenger Steve Francis.

Readers are invited to submit questions regarding the important issues that affect the communities of Ocean Beach and Point Loma "” including the beach-alcohol ban, oversize vehicles and crime "” for the debate moderators to ask the two candidates for mayor.

The debate is scheduled for 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. and will be moderated by Clyde Fuller of Pacific Beach and Susan Farrell of La Jolla.
