College Area residents are welcome to join the College Area Community Council (CACC) on Saturday, Aug. 3 for their 2nd Annual College Area Community Cleanup. This event is for College Area residents on a first-come, first-served basis until dumpsters are full.
Join in the event to help discard unwanted items and clean up the neighborhoods of the College Area.
There will be three (3) large dumpsters located in the east parking lot of the College Avenue Church (4747 College Ave.) for the public to drop off items. Also on site will be electronic recycling and the Disabled American Veterans to accept your useable donated household items.
The CACC wants to thank City Council President, Sean Elo-Rivera and his staff for collaborating with them to make this event happen.
Those individuals interested in signing up to volunteer or donate to help offset the expenses of this event are encouraged to do so.
