Residents at Waterford Terrace Retirement Community in La Mesa are excited to be a part of this years Toys for Tots, sponsored by the San Diego Marine Corps Reserve.

WTRC is reaching out to the local community to help. Any new toy in original packaging will be a great gift for a child this holiday season.

The drop off location is at the community in La Mesa located at 5580 Aztec Drive, La Mesa, right when you walk in the front doors. The preferred time for dropping off toys is between working hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The drive will finish up on Dec. 15.

The staff would love for everyone that drops off their toy to have their picture taken with their gift so they can showcase a Toys for Tots event for the residents in early January.

All gifts will be wrapped by local Marines and distributed to children around the city that are on a wishlist for a toy at holiday time.
