
A 51-year-old male was riding his Yamaha motorcycle southbound on 4600 Nimitz Blvd in the No. 1 lane while a 45-year-old man was on a bicycle crossing Nimitz Boulevard at 4 p.m. on June 22. The bicyclist was traveling from the west to the east when he was struck by the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital. The bicyclist was transported to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries, which included a broken nose, broken jaw and abrasions. These injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
