Moxie Theatre will play host to Cry It Out, a production by playwright Molly Smith Metzler and director Vanessa Duron, that delves deep into the universal experiences of parenthood, friendship, and the complexities of modern life.
This poignant and relatable production will offer audiences an examination of the challenges and joys that come with raising a child, the intricate dance between career aspirations, societal pressures, the all-consuming love for one’s child, and the deep need for human connection.
Cry It Out plays at the Moxie Theatre beginning Aug. 13 and runs through Sept. 10.
Located and founded in San Diego in 2004, the theatre is located at 6663 El Cajon Blvd, Ste N.
The show will run Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Tickets are as follows: Opening night – $46-$50, General evening – $40-$43, and Sunday matinee – $42-$48. There are $15 rush tickets (limited availability) one hour before the performances and $25 student tickets with student I.D. Senior and military discounts are also available.
