PoshFest
PoshFest is bringing together San Diego’s fashion resale entrepreneurs for a two-day conference at the Town and Country Resort in Mission Valley on Oct. 12-13. With sessions ranging from a fireside chat with Shawn Mendez’ personal stylist, to trend and style forecasting, to using live streaming to sell clothes there are many interesting sessions for fashion lovers. A focus of the conference is learning business building skills and networking with other Poshmark sellers. More than 500 attendees are expected to the sold out event.
Craft House grand opening party
Visit Fashion Valley’s latest restaurant for its grand opening on Oct. 14. Located at 7007 Friars Road Suite 347, Craft House Fashion Valley is a new American cuisine restaurant with a Mexican influence serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The food menu consists of Achiote Chipotle or Calabrian Chili Buffalo Wings, Blackened Salmon BLT, Local Catch Ceviche, Lobster Roll, Bone Marrow, Burgers, Herb Butter Tomahawk, and so much more.
The drink menu consists of specialty cocktails such as Chocolate Bliss Martini and Tamarind Painkiller, in addition to house cocktails such as the Coco Loco Margarita made with 1800 coconut tequila, coconut syrup, toasted coconut and fresh lime juice, and the Ginger On The Rye made with rye whiskey, muddled raspberry, mint, and ginger.
626 Night Market
Mission Valley, an open-air shopping center located in San Diego, California (https://www.mission-valley.com), invites the community to the recently launched and already highly popular 626 Night Market event on October 21st and 22nd. The 626 Night Market is an outdoor weekend experience modeled after the nighttime bazaars of Asia where people come together to eat, drink, socialize and be entertained. This iconic California festival combines an exciting collection of street food, merchandise, crafts, artists, games, live concerts and other attractions to create an epic event that appeals to people of all ages. Trick-or-Treat at Mission Valley mall
Mission Valley, an open-air shopping center located in San Diego, California (https://www.mission-valley.com), invites the community to a family-friendly Trick-or-Treat event on Tuesday, October 31st from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to stop by the AMC Court to pick up a complimentary trick-or-treat bag and learn about special center offers before visiting the center’s retailers and restaurants to collect candy (bags and candy are while supplies last). Guests are welcome to wear Halloween costumes; anyone over 12 years of age is asked not to wear a Halloween mask or to wear a costume with anything resembling a weapon. The use of silly string, blow horns, or any powdery substance is also prohibited and subject to confiscation. This event is free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required. Trinity Theatre presents Tuesdays with Morrie
Trinity Theatre Company continues their Grown Up Stage (GUS) season under the guidance of Artistic Director, Sean Boyd with Tuesdays With Morrie, a play by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom, based on the book by Mitch Albom and directed by SharonFaith Horton. Tuesdays With Morrie features San Diego Actors John Grasberger as Morrie and Kevin Quezada as Mitch. The production runs from November 10th – 19th. This will be the first Grown Up Stage (GUS) performance that Trinity Theatre Company will perform at their new Mission Valley location in the Mission Valley Mall.
