“People love Sandbar’s spicy tacos with the crispy onions on top,” said Sunny Lee, executive director of Discover Pacific Beach, which puts on the annual festival with more than 50,000 visitors.
Pacific BeachFest also included a volleyball tournament, 5k/Half Marathon, beer garden, local artisans, kids activities, and live music on two stages.
“It was a great turnout with thousands of people in attendance,” Lee said. “We are thankful for the community members who participated and volunteered, and we look forward to next year.” Next year’s event is scheduled for Oct. 5.
