Ocean Beach MainStreet Association has announced O’Beachy Bingo, a fun holiday game to encourage the community and visitors alike to cruise around the Ocean Beach business district this holiday season.
O’Beachy Bingo is part of the OBMA’s ‘Tis The Season to Shop Local’ campaign, which kicked off with their annual Small Business Saturday Celebration on Nov. 25.
Search for the flock of “OB parrots” in various businesses throughout Ocean Beach. Once you’ve located the stuffed animal parrots and identified their name, such as Peppermint, Butterscotch, Willow, and Twinkle, turn your completed bingo card into the OBMA storefront located at 1868 Bacon St.
Participants are entered into an opportunity drawing and winners will receive fun OB swag, merchandise, and $25 gift cards.
Grab your bingo card from Ocean Beach MainStreet Association at 1868 Bacon St. Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., or at OB Farmers Market Info Booth on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.; Ocean Beach Business Center, 4967 Newport Ave. Ste. 12., ( Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; South Coast Surf Shop, 5023 Newport Ave. daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Stronghold HQ, 2176 Chatsworth Blvd. daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Ocean Beach’s business district has flourished for over 125 years, and OBMA is proud to celebrate decades of neighborhood shopping. They encourage everyone to “Shop Local” this holiday season.
