Florist at Mission Valley Mall
For the entire month of February, Mission Valley Mall will host Blostma Floristry, a talented local florist, in the AMC Court in front of Yard House to give its shoppers easy access to beautiful Valentine’s Day and other special occasion floral arrangements. Blostma Floristry has several specials for the month, including a single premium rose priced at just $5, build-your-own bouquets starting at $25, and a dozen roses in a glass vase starting at $80.
Free Paint & Sip event
Attend a free “Paint & Sip” experience at Novo Brazil Brewing Company on Tuesday, February 13th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. During this exciting painting event, guests will have a chance to bring out their inner artist for an evening filled with fun and creativity; as a special treat for those over 21 (with valid ID), their first drink is on the house. There will also be a raffle, and guests are invited to make an evening out of the experience, purchasing a meal at Novo for the perfect date night at Mission Valley. Blood drive on Valentine’s Day
For the sixth consecutive year, Kyle Kraska’s Celebration of Heroes Blood Drive will honor first responders and blood donors who help save lives every day while helping ensure hospital patients have the blood products they need.
Kyle Kraska, Heroes Helping Heroes 4Life (H3), Jersey Mike’s Subs, and The Handlery Hotel San Diego invite San Diegans to be a hero at the 6th annual Kyle Kraska Celebration of Heroes Blood Drive with the American Red Cross. The blood drive will be held on Wednesday, February 14, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., at The Handlery Hotel San Diego, 950 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, Calif., 92108. Mission Valley Planning Group election
On Wednesday, March 6, 2024 the Mission Valley Planning Group (“MVPG”) will hold a general election to elect three new volunteers to serve on the board for four year terms. The general meeting and election will be at noon, in the Community Room of the Mission Valley Library, 2123 Fenton Parkway, San Diego, 92108.
The MVPG Board’s primary purpose is to advise the City Council, Planning Commission and other governmental agencies as may be appropriate in the initial preparation, adoption of, implementation of, or amendment to the general or community plan as it pertains to the area or areas of influence of Mission Valley.
Marketing awards in Mission Valley
The American Marketing Association (AMA) San Diego Chapter is proud to hold its 2nd annual Sandie Awards. The “Sandies” recognize the best marketing campaigns and communications released in San Diego County in the previous year, created by or for an agency, consultancy, corporation, educational institution, nonprofit, or college student in San Diego County. Entries for marketing work released in 2023 are being accepted here through March 2, 2024. The live ceremony for winners will be held on May 2, 2024 in Mission Valley.
