Lantern Crest Senior Living will be hosting a very special event this Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14), celebrating all love stories.
In addition to offering a renewal of vows ceremony for those couples residing on their 40-acre campus, they will be sharing a special moment of remembrance and reflection: an opportunity for seniors to celebrate and remember those loves who are no longer with us.
“Every day, we are surrounded by so many beautiful love stories,” said Bobi Thomas, executive sales and marketing director. “All loves should be celebrated, not only those still standing beside us. Many of our residents have shared in beautiful love stories, but their partners are no longer with us. Lost loves also deserve special moments to be remembered and reflected upon, as they are forever in our hearts”.
This celebration of enduring love and commitment will take place in The Plaza.
Lantern Crest is currently home to just under 400 residents, including 57 couples. Among those who will be renewing their wedding vows will be a resident couple who have enjoyed and celebrated 74 years since their original “I do” date.
This special event, dedicated to love, is scheduled for 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. and welcomes all seniors who wish to celebrate their love story by renewing their vows or sharing in a moment of reflection and remembrance.
