The Republican Women of California, Navajo Canyon will next meet on Tuesday, April 9 at the Legacy Hotel. The meeting will run from 10:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 875 Hotel Circle South. There is free parking available.
The group will hear from speakers with the U.S. Border Patrol.
Agent Justin Castrejon and agent Maria Tavera, public affairs officers, from the San Diego Sector Strategic Branch will give the group information as to what the Border Patrol’s responsibility is in handling the influx of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border.
RWCNC has many opportunities available to volunteer. Those attending the meeting are welcome to bring a guest.
The deadline to register for the event is Thursday, April 4.
