The City Planning Department needs to hear from you.
The Plan Mid-City Interactive Survey is now available by clicking the first links below for English, Spanish, or Vietnamese versions of the survey.
The Mid-City Communities Plan is being updated as part of the City’s General Plan for the first time in 25 years. The update will guide future growth and investment in the Mid-City communities of City Heights, Eastern Area, Kensington-Talmadge, and Normal Heights. El Cerrito south of El Cajon Boulevard is in the Eastern Area but any resident of El Cerrito is welcome to tale the survey since all residents of El Cerrito will be impacted by what happens along the south side of El Cajon Boulevard and University Avenue.
The City Planning Department has launched an interactive survey tool to gather real-time feedback using your mobile phone or computer as part of the Mid-City Communities Plan Update. The survey will allow you to provide feedback on Land Use & Development, Urban Design, Parks & Public Facilities, Mobility, and Sustainability & Climate and share any other feedback that is important to you.
For those interested, the survey is available in English, Español, Tiếng Việt and you can access it directly from your computer. In addition, signs and posters will be distributed throughout Mid-City to encourage people to take the survey on their phones either through a QR code or texting.
Survey feedback will help shape community ideas on how to improve the community. Later this year, the City will release a Public Engagement Summary including all the feedback received in previous engagement activities.
