Casa de Oro Friends of the Library and interested community members are invited to attend the Friends’ annual meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Casa de Oro branch of the County Library, 9085 Campo Rd., #180, in Spring Valley.
San Diego County Library staff will present the final design for the new library slated for groundbreaking this winter. The state-of-the-art facility will be built next to Spring Valley Academy near Campo Rd. and Conrad Dr. and is scheduled for completion in 2026.
The Friends of the Casa de Oro Library supports the library with used book sales and other activities. The group advocates for the new library facility while providing general fundraising and volunteer support.
