The Honor Roll: Pointer athletes, coach recognized for excellence

A total of 28 Point Loma High School athletes and a veteran coach were recognized for their accomplishments during Fall sports. All-CIF athletes were selected from 124 high schools in the San Diego section and Imperial County.

All-League athletes were selected in different sports by coaches or media representatives.

ALL-CIF TEAMS

The list is headed by junior girls tennis player Noel Allen, the only Pointer athlete to receive First Team All-CIF San Diego Section honors.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Kelly McIntire (10).

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Nazare Judd (12).

BOYS WATER POLO: Andrew Bochstahler (12).

CROSS COUNTRY: Veteran Pointer cross country coach Keith DeLong was selected CIF Coach of the Year.
