Maryland Avenue Elementary School in La Mesa was last week’s setting for a special family reunion.
Austin Levesque had been deployed with the U.S. Navy for seven months. His return last week reunited him with his wife, Danyelle. Danyelle is a visual and performing arts teacher in the district.
Even more special, his two kids, Easton and Emma, did not know their father was returning from deployment. They were able to greet him at school.
