College Area residents are welcome to come join the students of San Diego State University for a neighborhood cleanup event this Sunday (March 2).

The event will begin at the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union (6075 Aztec Circle Drive) starting at 11 a.m. The cleanup runs until 1 p.m.

Those interested in volunteering will have the opportunity to clean up the area, they also can meet neighbors and enjoy free food.

Participants should bring closed-toe shoes, water, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. The group will be walking for two hours.
