Helix has had an exciting and eventful start to the year, with memorable moments and community engagement.
Our second Parent Shadow Day of the year brought many families to campus, giving them a firsthand look at the Helix experience.
We also celebrated the debut of our Unified Basketball Team, and it was a blast! The athletes gave an incredible performance, and the overwhelming support from our community made it even more special. We look forward to more Unified Sports events in the future.
The Helix Black Student Union (BSU) proudly led over 1,000 community members in the 43rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Parade. In front of thousands of spectators, Helix BSU had the distinct honor of being the only student body selected to carry the organizers’ banner and lead the parade.
We also took time to recognize the impact of female athletes during National Girls and Women in Sports Day (pictured above), celebrating their achievements with a series of fun events throughout the week.

Helix Foundation Golf Tournament – April 5 –
The Helix Foundation plays a vital role in supporting school programs, facilities, and scholarships for graduating seniors.
