The local AAUW branches of San Diego County will celebrate accomplishments at the annual InterBranch Council luncheon.

This year’s meeting will take place Jan. 25 at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club, 1505 Lomas Santa Fe Drive in Solana Beach. The cost of the luncheon is $45.

The featured speakers are the staff of One Safe Place, the North County Family Justice Center, which provides comprehensive help in a safe and judgement-free environment that empowers people to move forward with their lives.

Check-in for the luncheon and silent auction will begin at 10:30 a.m. This luncheon is in lieu of the La Mesa-El Cajon Branch monthly meeting. Branches of the InterBranch Council (SDC-IBC) include Cabrillo-Diego; Carlsbad-Oceanside-Vista; Del Mar-Leucadia; Fallbrook; La Mesa-El Cajon; Poway-Penasquitos; and San Diego.

Regular monthly La Mesa-El Cajon Branch meetings are open to the public and are held in King Hall at Foothills United Methodist Church, 4031 Avocado Blvd. in La Mesa. Check the branch website for further details.
