The City of Santee’s inaugural Santee Community Celebration takes place Saturday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Santee Historic Barn, located at 9200 Magnolia Ave.
This brand-new event explores and celebrates all things that make Santee what it is today by inviting local and regional groups and businesses to set up educational booths for residents to learn about the past, present and future of Santee.
The variety of booths and interactive activities will be an organic and authentic representation of the residents that live, work, and recreate in Santee so that our community members can share their similarities and celebrate their differences.
Enjoy some delicious food at one of the food trucks, take a seat and enjoy a performance from local entertainment groups and collect stamps on your “passport” as you engage with local vendors for entries into an opportunity drawing while you Do More Due East.
The event will include performances by Staump Music School, DanzArts, White Dragon Martial Arts of East County, PRIDE Academy Ballet Folklorico Dancers, and Expressions Dance and Movement Center. Santee Community Celebration will also host an antique tractor exhibit by Early Days Gas Engine & Tractor Association Branch 22 and petting zoo by Manzanita 4H club.
