Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8 the UPSES Portuguese Hall in Point Loma hosts “Dia de Portugal,” or Portugal Day. The event will feature showing the Portugal vs. Turkey soccer match on HDTV, complete with turkey sandwiches in the bar. On Sunday, the hall will serve Portuguese cuisine with complimentary wine and host Out of the Gutter Comedy Group. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for children 12 and under. Sunday, June 8, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Celebrate Cancer Survivorship: San Diego! hosts free 11th annual celebration of life, offering information on cancer treatment, prevention and support.
