On Saturday, May 3, the Cuyamaca College Open House will take place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The event will showcase over a dozen academic and student support programs and services, including providing in-person registration and enrollment assistance for prospective students. 

The Cuyamaca College Open House will provide information and guidance for new and soon-to-be Coyotes. Departments will highlight program and service benefits, showcase exciting items, and provide information about career pathways available. All student support services, including counselors, will be available to provide assistance and guidance on how to apply and register for classes, get information about financial aid, and other resources available on campus. The Welcome Center will also be open.

In collaboration with the Cuyamaca College Open House, the Water Conservation Garden will also be hosting the Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring vendors, food trucks, plant sales, live music, family-friendly activities, and live butterfly releases.

The Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture department has been hosting the festival for the last 30 years. Participating sponsors for the Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival include the Heritage of the Americas Museum, Cuyamaca College Ornamental Horticulture, Coyote Music Festival, and Cuyamaca College. 

Both events are free and open to the public, and located at 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway in El Cajon.
