Spring began this past Tuesday and with that comes Easter, which is early this year on Sunday, March 31.
Gather your family and friends, put on your Easter finery (remember the white hats and shoes of our youth?), and celebrate the holiday in one of our favorite ways, by eating.

Marie Callender’s Restaurant and Bakery
Not feeling like a brunch? Visit Marie Callender’s where they will feature a Ham dinner. On the menu Ham with Pineapple Chipotle Glaze, mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. Provisional Kitchen, Café & Mercantile at The Pendry Hotel
If you are venturing downtown to the Gaslamp Quarter, try the Provisional Kitchen, Café & Mercantile. This unique restaurant located in the Pendry Hotel is not only an eatery but also a retail space within a greenhouse. Shop and eat. They sell a variety of homewares, ceramics, jewelry as well as personal hygiene items.
The Easter Bunny will join guests for brunch which will feature a chef’s carving station including lamb shoulder, a crepe station, a chocolate fountain and a build-your-own parfait station. Rumorosa
Celebrate with the Easter bunny and the staff of the new Rumorosa Restaurant at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina with their Easter Buffet. This restaurant focuses on authentic Cali-Baja cuisine, with a seafood bar, a concha breakfast sandwich and a crepe station. Bring the kids and participate in the egg hunt on the lawn at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Brunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Located by the San Diego Airport at 1380 Harbor Island Drive, parking is on-site. The cost is $85 for adults and $45 for children ages 6-12.
