Our fifth-grade students completed their IB PYP exhibitions. Students work in partnership with a small group of their peers and a faculty mentor to complete independent research, prepare a visual display and prepare an oral presentation demonstrating their learning to the whole school and to members of the community. The students are required to participate in a collaborative, trans-disciplinary inquiry process that involves them in identifying, investigating and offering solutions to real-life issues. This year, students researched topics like children’s issues and rights, health issues, war and disappearance of the bees, to name a few.
