Pacific Beach Middle PB Middle has started the school-wide IB Community Project. Each eighth-grader is beginning to design a service project to address a need in the community. Students will investigate, plan, take action, reflect and then present their project in an end-of-the-year exhibition. Making connections between what is learned in the classroom and then applying it and making a difference is at the heart of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. PBMS thanks Kiwanis, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and UNICEF for early and continued support of the school-wide focus on service and action. Thanks to the Rotary for their support in purchasing new dictionaries for the school’s Mandarin Immersion students. Mission Bay Cluster
