The La Mesa Village Association (LMVA) invites the community to take part in their 5el Annual Halloween in La Mesa Village event that features family-friendly trick-or-treating in downtown La Mesa where businesses will be handing out treats along La Mesa Blvd. and adjoining streets.
There will also be fun, Halloween-themed stilt walkers cruising up and down La Mesa Blvd. interacting with everyone – perfect for a selfie. And, the La Mesa First United Methodist Church will host a free “spooky” organ concert at 4:45 pm playing a variety of Halloween-Themed tunes. The church is located at 4690 Palm Ave.
LMVA is also hosting a Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Contest.
The community is encouraged to dress up their pet(s) and bring them down to the La Mesa Blvd. Trolley Station by the fountain courtyard area (near The Yogurt Mill located at 8158 La Mesa Blvd.). Registration is free and begins at 5 p.m. with judging to start at 5:15 p.m. Contest categories are Scariest, Cutest, Most Creative and Best Pet/Pet Parent Combo. Prizes will be awarded for 1S t, 2Dakota del Norte y 3rd place in each category and will include gift cards from local businesses, pet treats and San Diego experiences! Bonus – the first 50 registrants will receive a FREE Boo Bag Door Prize.
CUANDO: Thursday, Oct. 31, from 4 – 6 p.m.
DONDE: La Mesa Blvd. between Acacia Ave. and 4th Street, as well as a few adjacent streets.
