If you want to give back to the La Mesa community, one way to go about it is by giving to the La Mesa Park & Recreation Foundation.
As 2023 approaches, the Foundation wants to thank community members for their support in 2022.
With the support of donors and volunteers, the Foundation was able to host more than 25 events in local parks alone this year. Such events are open to the public and include things like movies, concerts, ribbon-cutting events, community garden activities, fundraisers, workshops, art in the park, and more.
Parks in La Mesa provide space for kids to play, family celebrations, dogs to exercise and more.
A year-end tax-deductible donation to LMP&RF will go towards needs such as free events in the park, new park equipment, the community garden, environmental sustainability and more.
