The City of La Mesa is partnering with EDCO to hold its fifth Household hazardous Waste (“HHW”) collection event.
On Saturday, July 29, La Mesa residents are welcome to bring their hazardous waste to specified locations across the city, by appointment only.
HHW is any material (gas, liquid, or solid) from a home that may pose a health threat to people, animals, or the environment if handled or disposed of improperly. HHW should never be thrown into the trash or poured down the sink, sewer, or storm drains.
Drop-offs are by appointment only and there is a limit of 15-gallons or 125 pounds.
