A clean up is slated this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the little canyon trail area at the northern end of El Cerrito.
Participants have the opportunity to not only clean up litter, but also meet some of their neighbors.
Those interested in taking part in the event can meet at the entrance of the footpath at Adams Avenue and Esther Street, near 5976 Adams Avenue. Trash bags and grabbers will be provided.
Maybe this is your first time seeing what a nice trail it is right in your own neighborhood. It is home to many bunnies and birds and other wildlife as well as native plants.
