Artist, Cynthia McVey, will display her whimsical collages in the Winer Family Community Room & Art Gallery from Nov. 6 to Dec. 2.
McVey’s unique art style stems from her love of stickers and not knowing what to do with them. She started making collages in 2022 using a variety of materials including stickers, craft paper, washi tape, and old book pages. Come meet her at her Artist Reception on Saturday, Nov. 23, at noon.
Do Your Homework @ the Library provides free assistance with homework assignments. Our Homework Center is open to all K-8 students and Homework Coaches are available to guide and support student learning. The center is open on Monday to Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m.
The San Carlos Friends of the Library Used Book Sale is held on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Come buy books and support the Friends of the Library. Ask for a membership envelope from the book sale cashiers to join or donate to the San Carlos Friends of the Library.
We are in need of your gently used book donations which are accepted any time during library open hours.
