Albion San Diego will take on Club de Lyon at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine on Tuesday, Aug. 8 to start a six-match homestand after wrapping up a three-game road trip in which the team, led by Diego Gomez, won two matches including a victory over the defending NISA champion Michigan Stars on July 18.
Albion sits in second-place of the standings with 24 points after 14 games one point ahead of the Maryland Bobcats, which has played 15 matches. Club de Lyon is in sixth place in the standings with 17 points after 12 games and split the back-to-back versus Albion San Diego on May 30 and June 2 with each side coming out with a 2-1 victory.
