The ghost with the most is back! Audiences around the world are gearing up for the highly anticipated return of Michael Keaton as the iconic character, Beetlejuice, a role he brought to life in the 1988 film of the same name alongside visionary director, Tim Burton. Warner Bros. is set to release the sequel to that film, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” on Friday, Sept. 6.
On Aug. 30, unsuspecting guests of Belmont Park in Mission Beach were greeted by a bunch of Bobs, the new Shrinker set to debut in the upcoming film. Not much is known about Bob the Shrinker just yet, but the adorable yet terrifying character made quite the impression with those expecting a normal Friday evening at Belmont Park.
A group of five Bobs made their way through Belmont Park, awkwardly stumbling through the crowds of people gathering for a chance to take a photo with them. The ghoulish group was spotted on the beach, strolling down the boardwalk, and even going through the park’s amusement area.
To learn more about Bob the Shrinker, and the rest of the new characters debuting in “Beetlejuice Beeltejuice,” be sure to see the film when it opens nationwide on Friday, Sept. 6. Keaton returns to his iconic role alongside Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz and Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz, with new cast members Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, with Jenna Ortega as Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, and Willem Dafoe.
