
The City of La Mesa, in partnership with the La Mesa Community Welfare Association and the La Mesa Park and Recreation Foundation, invites adults aged 50 and older to a joyful winter celebration featuring:
- Continental Breakfast: Start your day with a tasty selection of breakfast items.
- Cookie Decorating: A sweet treat to get you into the holiday spirit.
- Festive Crafts: Enjoy hands-on activities and crafts.
- Community Resources: Learn about helpful programs and services.
- Winter Sing-Along: Join in the holiday cheer led by the talented Adult Enrichment Center Guitar Jammers.
The event will take place Friday, Dec. 20, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center, 8450 La Mesa Blvd.
“The Adult Enrichment Center Winter Party reflects the City’s commitment to providing enriching experiences for all ages,” said Mayor Mark Arapostathis. “Events like this provide older adults with opportunities to connect, stay engaged, and celebrate the holiday season in a warm and welcoming environment.”
Thanks to the generosity of the La Mesa Community Welfare Association, a 501(c)(3) local nonprofit dedicated to supporting the community, all registered attendees will receive a complimentary care package filled with holiday cheer.
