PB’s Buceo de pato, 4650 Mission Blvd., will be celebrating the Super Bowl with specials that include a $30 touchdown platter, with fried pickles, wings, calamari, garlic Parmesan duck fat fries, and dipping sauce, as well as $30 High Noon buckets, which come with five seltzers. Other specials include $10 fried pickles, $7 Pacificos, $10 Kentucky or vodka mules, $12 shots and a beer, $20 carne asada fries, and $15 cheesy garlic Parmesan fries. Sandbar, 718 Ventura Place, in Mission Beach is throwing “The Big Game Watch Party” with a touchdown package that includes drink tickets (for alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks), all-you-can-eat tacos, and game day appetizer buffet from 2:30-7 p.m., reserved seating, and raffle prizes and giveaways. Tickets are $75 (plus taxes and fees) and can be purchased aquí. Sandbar will close to the general public at 2 p.m., and will only allow guests with touchdown package tickets beyond that point.

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no cover charge. Novo has a full bar with cocktails, more than 60 beers, and NOVA kombuchas on tap. The food menu features traditional sports bar fare like chicken wings, carne asada nachos and fries, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, hamburgers, burritos, and salads, along with Brazilian-inspired dishes such as empanadas, yucca fries, Coxinha (chicken croquette), picanha (prime sirloin), and El Charro ribeye.
