The La Mesa Park & Recreation Foundation announces the 8el Annual “La Mesa Rocks” Fundraiser for the Parks, set for Saturday, Sept. 7.
The community can join for an evening of food, entertainment, and fundraising to support La Mesa’s parks.
This year’s event aims to raise essential funds for new play equipment and shade structures, ensuring the parks remain vibrant and welcoming. The fun continues the next morning with the “Play Fore the Parks” Charity Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the events will go towards funding new playground equipment and installing shade structures at Aztec Park.
“Parks are vital to the health and happiness of our community,” said Foundation President Leigh Harns. “These fundraisers are not just about raising funds — they’re about creating and enhancing the parks we cherish, where families can continue to make lasting memories.”
