Lynnerup Fine Shirts brings the art of bespoke shirt-making to San Diego. Crafting each shirt involves taking 40 measurements, conducting a posture assessment, and completing one to two fittings. Each shirt begins with a blank sheet of paper, and no block patterns are used. Traditional techniques are employed such as hand-cutting, single-needle machine stitching, hand-attached buttons, handsewn buttonholes, and couture hand- ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail.
The founder of Lynnerup Fine Shirts, Rasmus Lynnerup is a La Jolla resident who has relocated from Europe to San Diego. His work reflects the rich traditions of shirt-making, combining impeccable craftsmanship with timeless style. Each piece delivers extraordinary comfort, perfect fit, and a sense of confidence.
These shirts are ideal for special occasions, holidays, formal events, or memorable nights out. In addition to men’s shirts, Lynnerup designs women’s shirts and dresses. Due to the limited number of garments he produces each year, there is a waiting list for these custom pieces. However, the wait time to begin the process is only a few weeks. Each shirt is uniquely tailored to the individual, ensuring that no two shirts are alike.
The shirts are also eco-friendly. Each garment is custom-made, resulting in minimal waste and no excess inventory – an approach that stands in stark contrast to “fast fashion,” which often ends up in landfills. The materials for these bespoke shirts are sourced from premium mills in Italy and Switzerland, which have increasingly offered organic and recycled fabrics.
For Black Friday, Lynnerup is offering a special promotion: When you place a minimum order for three shirts, one will be upgraded to their handmade tier, a $1,000 value. For more information, visit lynnerupfineshirts.com or book an appointment on their website.
