The ringleader in a 2013 drug operation in Mission Bay was jailed Monday and the judge set sentencing for Jason Morgan Boone for July 29.
Boone, 42, of San Diego, had been free on $500,000 bond, but after getting a sentencing delay on June 30, San Diego Superior Court Judge Timothy Walsh set July 13 for his surrender.
Boone pleaded guilty April 17 to three counts of possession of methamphetamine for sale, and one count of selling the drug. He could get six years in prison, but probation is also a possibility.
Boone is the last suspect out of six others who has not yet been sentenced. Everyone else has received jail terms, community service, or been given credit for time served.
Boone stored meth in the lockers of the Mission Bay Sportcenter, his former employer and the only employee to be charged. The others were drug couriers. Boone is now in the central jail.
