
Would you like to jump with the San Diego Junior Lifeguards on Monday, July 8? Tickets are available for purchase online until Sunday, July 7 at 6 p.m. Space is limited to the first 80 people (18-plus) for each jump session (8 a.m. and noon). Pier jump proceeds benefit the Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego’s efforts to teach every child in San Diego County how to swim. Your $100 donation can save a life by teaching one child in the community how to swim. Jumping requirements:
– $100 minimum donation (each participant);
– No refunds and non transferable;
– No fins no jump;
– Must be 18 years or older;
– Must wear swim fins;
– Must attend safety lecture;
– Must be a strong ocean swimmer, the ocean swim back to the beach after your jump is between 500-1,000 yards;
– Waiver form required (provided at check in). Morning jumps:
8 a.m. check in;
8:45 a.m. safety lecture;
9:15-11:15 a.m. jumps. Afternoon jumps:
Noon check in;
12:45 p.m. safety lecture;
1:15-3:15 p.m. jumps.
