Baseball fans attending opening day at Petco Park will see more than their favorite players in the stadium; they will also notice lower prices on many of their favorite concession items. The Padres operations team lowered the cost of soda, hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts and bottled water to $4 each. The stadium has lowered the price of a 20-ounce domestic beer to $7.25 (in 2009 it cost $8.50) and will also offer a 14-ounce beer for $5.Fans will also be able to buy a Padres cap for $7 and a team T-shirt for $8. In addition to changes in the concessions line-up, there are also seating switch-ups on deck: the Toyota Terrace Level will be open to all fans, allowing everyone access to Club 19, Baja Bistro, the PCL Club and Coronado’s. The team also upgraded the All-You-Can-Eat program by moving the seat location to lower level sections and dropping prices from $37 in 2009 to $29 in 2010.
